"It's actually probably a good idea to represent herself," said San Francisco-area defense attorney Daniel Horowitz. "She looks like a vicious psychopath with a ridiculous defense."
However, Horowitz noted, the jury "may find her pathetic."
"If she can get just one juror to bond with her on some level, even if they hate her, they're getting to know her, and it's harder to kill someone you know," he said.
So you can see she is a born manipulator using her looks and skills till the very end, and never a bit remorseful about her crime. Ted Bundy the infamous serial killer also acted as his own lawyer in court but he had and education in law. Look what happened to him. The uneducated Arias who received her G.E.D behind bars doesn't stand a chance. I personally think that is what she is counting on. If you could earn a degree in manipulation and deception she would possess a MASTERS degree. Also her so-called 'good looks' don't pull much weight with me either.
