Micro Apartments Pop Up in Historic Providence Mall

Would you like to live in a "Micro Apartment?" If so you are in luck. In Rhode Island's Arcade Providence, built in 1928 is believed to be the oldest indoor shopping center in America. It now consist of 38 micro apartment spaces that are actually very nice.

With rents starting at $550 a month, the teeny-weeny pads range from 225 to 300 square feet and include a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, built-in storage, and an ovenless kitchen. There are coffee shops and retail stores on the building's first level, but sound from the commercial spaces is buffered by large bay windows, an idea inspired by old-ship construction.

I don't know about all of you, but this sounds intriguing to me. Nice, small and simple with coffee shops and retail stores at your finger tips. This is also great if you don't have a vehicle. You could get a job at one of the retail stores and you could save a lot of money by not having to travel! Here is the video so you can see for yourself.
