Stephen Hawking Takes Ice Bucket Challenge, And All Seems Right With The Universe
Since Stephen Hawking was diagnosed with ALS at age 21,
no fundraising effort to benefit research for the disease has reached
the grand scale of the recent ice bucket challenge. So it makes sense
that the celebrated theoretical physicist, now 72, would take the
challenge.
Hawking's children provide critical assistance in the
stunt, as you can see in the video above, while Hawking uses his
electronic voice to urge viewers to help "eliminate this terrible
disease."The ice bucket challenge is a global phenomenon that has raised more than $100 million for the ALS Association.
I am pleased to present one of the smartest people in the world. At 72 years old he is rocking it!
